Our Promise & Policies
These guidelines ensure mutual respect, protect our shared creative work, and keep our process seamless. By booking a session, you agree to these standard terms regarding image usage, editing, and copyright.
Copyright & Ownership
As is standard in the photography industry, KamaraImages retains full copyright and intellectual property ownership of all images. This allows me to showcase my portfolio and continue sharing my art. You will always receive a generous personal use license, but copyright is only transferred under a specific commercial agreement.
Photography Philosophy & Editing Style
KamaraImages specializes in natural, true-to-life photography that celebrates authenticity, accurate skin tones, and real body texture.
Additional Retouching
Advanced or detailed retouching requests beyond standard editing may be accommodated at the photographer's discretion and will be quoted separately.

Standard Editing Includes:
Color correction and tonal balance
Exposure and lighting adjustments
Minor blemish removal (temporary acne, small scratches, or distractions)
Light cleanup of minor flyaway hairs
Editing Excludes:
- Skin lightening or darkening
- Heavy skin smoothing or airbrushing
- Body reshaping or contouring
- Altering facial features or proportions
- Alteration of natural body texture or true skin tone
Client Usage Rights (Personal Use License)
KamaraImages grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered images for personal use only, including:
- Posting to personal social media accounts (credit appreciated but not required unless otherwise specified)
- Printing for home décor, personal albums, and gifts
- Sharing privately with friends and family
- Submitting to blogs or publications (credit required: Photo by KamaraImages / @kamaraimages)
- Need these images for your business, brand promotion, or sponsored content? Let’s chat! Commercial usage requires a separate, custom licensing agreement to ensure the work is properly valued. Please reach out before using any images for paid media, business websites, or brand campaigns.
Protecting the Art (Prohibited Uses)
- To preserve the integrity of our collaborative work, please refrain from altering the images (beyond basic cropping), applying third-party filters, reselling them, or using them in AI training models without written permission.
Photo Credit (When Required)
If the images are published in print or digital media (magazines, blogs, or brand pages), proper credit must be given. Example:
Photo by KamaraImages or @kamaraimages
Unless otherwise stated in agreement, credit on social media posts is appreciated and helps support our work!
Additional Policies & Procedures
Booking & Payment
- A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure all session and event dates.
- Bookings are not confirmed until the retainer is paid and the agreement is signed.
- The remaining balance is due prior to the session or event date unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Payments not received by the due date may result in cancellation or delayed delivery.
Rush Booking
Clients are encouraged to book at least two (2) weeks in advance.
Sessions booked within 14 days of the session date are subject to a Rush Booking Fee:
- Rush Booking Fee: $75–$150 (Based on session type and availability; due at booking)
Rush booking fees compensate for expedited scheduling, planning, and workflow adjustments.
Session Rescheduling & Cancellations
- One (1) reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
- Cancellations result in forfeiture of the retainer.
- Failure to appear or late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may result in shortened session time or cancellation without refund.
Photo Delivery Timeline
- Delivery timelines are outlined in the selected package and begin after the session date and once all balances are paid in full.
- Images are delivered via a private online gallery.
- KamaraImages is not responsible for delays caused by late payments or rescheduling.
Rush / Early Photo Delivery
Early delivery may be requested and is subject to editor availability.
Rush Delivery Fees:
• 48–72 hour delivery: +$100
• 24–48 hour delivery: +$170
• Same-day delivery: +$250 (limited availability)
Creative Control
KamaraImages retains full creative control over:
- Composition
- Posing direction
- Editing style
- Image selection
The client’s booking indicates trust in KamaraImages’ artistic vision and professional judgment.
Screenshots, Proofs & Unedited Files
- Screenshots, previews, or screen recordings may not be used to obtain additional images.
- Unedited or RAW files are not provided unless purchased as an additional add on (prices subject to change). Add-ons are found on our Packages & Offerings page.
Image Selection & Additional Purchases
- Clients receive the number of edited images outlined in their selected package.
- Images not included in the original package may be purchased separately. Add-ons are found on Packages & Offerings page.
All additional images are charged according to KamaraImages’ current Curated Additions pricing, which is subject to change at any time.
Licensing Upgrades
Need additional usage rights or a license expansion? Reach out any time. We’re happy to provide extended usage, campaign-specific licenses, or high-resolution files for press or print.
